Public Computer Stations
The Durham Public Library has four computers available for public use. Besides connecting to the Internet, they provide Microsoft's Office Suite of programs: Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint, and Access as well as tutorials and games for children. We also provide access to a number of online databases containing magazine and journal articles.
Usage is limited to one hour per visit unless no one is waiting in which case patrons are welcome to stay as long as they like. Printing is available at $0.10 / page.
Patrons using library computers are required to abide by the Library's Internet Use Policy. We recommend that you read the policy prior to using the computers.
Wireless
The Durham Public Library has wireless capability. Bring your laptop, find a comfortable place to work, and surf the 'net anytime during the library's hours of operation.
